SmartRoom Barcelona is located in Sants, a safe neighbourhood close to Sants Estació, the main train station, Plaza España, The Magic Fountain of Montjuic, Fira de Barcelona and the Arenas shopping centre.
SmartRoom Barcelona can be found in Sants, a quiet and safe neighborhood, just a 10 minute metro ride from Plaza Catalunya (the city center).
It is also only an 8 minute walk from Sants Estación (the city’s main train station) and only a 5 minute walk from Plaza de Sants.
Our location is well connected to the entire city and it is also well situated for both tourists and business guests alike, whether to visit various city attractions or attend a business fair at the city’s convention centers.
Our hotel is located between the two Fira de Barcelona locations, that together have 400,000 m2 of exhibition floor space (one of the largest in Europe): the emblematic Montjuïc and the modern Gran Via convention centers, designed by the Japanese architect Toyo Ito.
How To Find Us
This train station offers service to/from the Barcelona airport as well as connections to the high-speed AVE train. The metro Line 3 (green) can also be found connected to the train station. SmartRoom Barcelona is only an 8 minute walk from Sants Estación.
Taxi
In a taxi, the approximate travel time from the airport is 20 minutes in normal traffic.
Train
If you are at terminal 1, you may take the shuttle bus to Terminal 2 and from there, you may take the train to Sants Estació (the main train station). All trains to Barcelona, leaving from the airport, stop at Sants Estació every 30 minutes.
Express Airport Bus
There is also an express bus service from the airport called Aerobus. The 2nd stop, Plaza España, is the closest and SmartRoom Barcelona can be found either a 15 minute walk away or via the metro Line 1 (red) or local bus 50 (direction Collblanc).
City Bus
There are two buses servicing the nearest stop to SmartRoom Barcelona. Both bus line D20 and 50 stop only a 5 minute walk away. In addition there is a night bus (N2) that also services the same stop between the hours of 23:00 – 06:00.
Barcelona metro
Both Line 1 (red) and Line 5 (blue) provide service to Plaza De Sants, the nearest metro station is only a 5 minute walk away (200 meters).
